After WWII, the world went into a global sparing depression. Germany, Italy and Japan formed an Axis power, sought to solve their stinting problems through military conquest. These dictators were Benito Mussolini of Italy, Adolf Hitler of Germany, and General Hideki Tojo the premier of Japan. They enticed their followers to hand for world domination of their racial supremacy. On the defensive attempt to keep their countries free of these evil powers were the United States, Great Britain and the Soviet Union who formed the Allied nations. Their leaders were Franklin Delano Roosevelt for the United States, Winston Churchill of Britain, and Joseph Stalin of the Soviet Union.
First, Mussolini told the Italians that they were descended from Caesar and that he would build a new Roman Empire. Italy invaded Ethiopia in 1935.
